Unique reading experience

This book was so much more than I expected. It's fascinating historical fiction, whatever your religious orientation. I personally do not practice
any religion, but respect the Bible as a piece of literature that provides some insight into the Jewish and Christian religion. The author brings life and complex personalities to several characters in the Old Testament. The extraordinary writing and colorful personalities makes for a wonderful reading experience.
Without proselytizing, the author does a great job in weaving a universal spiritual message of the benefits of showing love, respect, and tolerance toward others. This is achieved by presenting very real plausible life scenarios of confusion, doubt and conflict with lots of thoughtful dialog that holds the reader in suspense to its resolution.
I highly recommend this 3 in 1 series.

Superbly written. The history of the bible presented from a unique perspective and in a thoroughly enjoyable story form. Can't wait for the sequels.
