An Interesting Assortment for a Reader With Time

This collection takes you back to earlier (much earlier) writers and is fascinating in the
length of description. Obviously with no TV, radio, or other distraction the reader
had time to wander through lengthy descriptive passages.
I enjoyed the stories primarily as a voyage back to other eras (and several are
represented in this collection. Romance was a much more extended adventure
in the past apparently.
Good for the reader who has time and interest in history.

Do not fall for this. The average quality is very low. There are some good ones by the well known authors, but even those are not their best works.
