I cannot wait for Book 2 to be released!

I have to be honest, although the story itself was engrossing (and boy oh boy was it) and I felt for the characters involved (yeah, I cried a few times), the writing was extremely poor. It was a struggle, especially toward the end, to comprehend what was being said at times. I found myself reading sentences and paragraphs over and over again in an attempt to understand what the author was trying to say. The book was fraught with misspellings and words used incorrectly (passed instead of past, etc.). However, the book was so darn good that I was compelled to muscle through it. I am so glad that I did! This book is spectacular. I am anxiously awaiting the release of Book 2 and will seek out other works by this author despite the errors. To be honest, the writing style came across as having been written by a high school student that didn't receive much education in school. Then again, perhaps the author was going for that tone because the story is being told from the viewpoint of a 14/15 year old girl. Great book!

This is a horribly twisted story that I couldn't put down.

More than a few typos otherwise I would've given it 5★. The writing style isn't great but it was one of the most bleeped up stories I have ever read. Take the authors 18+ warning serious, its definitely isn't for the faint of heart.
My heart is immediately captivated by Jane and having read the blurb I know what's gona happen to her. She see's warning signs but she's 14 doesn't understand them. Just when I think it can't get any worse it does. So I figure ok its got to start getting better now but it gets so much worse. These were supposed to be the people she trusted! By the end I realize that everyone has a will to live but why doesn't she just end it? What little messed up happiness she has is taken from her. Not even close to being a HEA.

Considering the sewer she was raised in from Middle School onwards, how well could she express her feelings in prose and perfectly project her feelings in perfect grammar? The fact that she could reveal this at at all shows that she has more courage than most contemporary writers. Good for her!
