I think the author used her daughter too much in the storyline. It seemed like the author was talking to her daughter the book.

I found this very boring and not going in depth about the topics so you will just be wasting your money. The author was really writing this for her daughter and not the readers. I felt It wasn't really a guide.don't listen to the other reviews. I didn't get three pages into it. Plus it was very confusing to read. It had no organization to it. I didn't know what I was reading. What I dis understand was plain and just couldn't pull me in. BOOOOOOO!!!

Although I'm not raising children, I had a few selections from Lori's book that helped me explain certain issues to my Grandson (age 8). Of a few were Bullies and Friendships. Too many parents wait until the situation arises to deal with certain issues. This book approaches and explains situations. Would it not be better to have your child equipped beforehand, and make good choices? This book covers it all.
